I'd love to hear the story behind his 25mph cruise down the track and into the sand.

I guess its still too short for most national events.

It is. Even in a class car you're hard on the brakes shortly after the stripe.

Not that it matters, IHRA is barely holding their head above water and doesn't really do national events anymore. Plus, with the fuel cars only doing 1000ft, it buys them 320 extra feet of shut down area.

If anybody's interested, St. Sebastian Parish (north hills, intersection of Siebert and McKnight) is raffling off a Red 2013 Camaro 2LS. $20 per ticket, 3000 tickets printed, drawing is in October.
Car is on display at Church now.

Hello all!!

I wanted to give you a heads-up to an upcoming (July) road course event in case anyone was interested...space is limited and the entire forum knows about it.

We hope to make this an annual thing, and would LOVE for you to attend!

Well in the waterfront near the movies, pretty sound area IMO, lots of events car shows there at times through the summer. so its not quite Homestead... its the safe side of the tracks lol And I believe local police will be present through out anyway..

What time?

I could probably make it for Saturday if some of you want to meet up and go in together?

My son got an F body last week. 93 Firebird 3.4L for $900.

Had to do a repair to the cat.

For a car with 187K on the clock, it sure looks great!

Sent from a Galaxy Note 2, far far away.
