Put the Trifecta tune in today. Wow!
The car is finally alive! With all the mods I have I wasn't satisfied until now. I've never been thrown back in my seat so hard.
My car almost feels like its got a small turbo now

I don't know. It says +13Hp, but that doesn't matter. The response and shifting difference makes it worth it.
Yup and I agree!

I looked at the Trifecta site and it looks like you buy their tune customized for your mods and they send you a tuner with the program on it. You download the tune to your car and then you send the tuner and everything they sent you back. Is that correct? If you buy an SCT tuner from JRE, Ted gives you the same tuning service, including the ability to datalog and you keep your SCT tuner. The tuner not only installs the custom tune, but allows you to tweak the tune yourself or clear check engine faults along with a bunch of other things. If you ever decide to do a true dynotune, you can sell the SCT for at least $200. JRE's tune on my car gave me nearly 4/10s second improvement in the 1/4 mile. $350 for the Trifecta doesn't seem at all like a bargain to me. IMO.

Fixed in first post! The response is great, and the shifting is so damn aggressive I get thrown back everytime, which never happened before.

With Trifecta tuning, you are mostly right. You list your mods and he sends a base tune. You run with this tune and then eventually you datalog the tune into a file that Trifecta will review for any issues and tweak if necesary. He sends the new file back and you re-tune and do it over again untill all is well. Then you can send the datacable back. Otherwise, for a bit more money, you can keep the datacable and get free tweaks and updating forever. Trifecta is a bit more expensive than the traditional tuning options for the V8, but many of us here got all of this including the cable and free lifetime tweaks for $300 not long ago. It was a great deal.

ParisTNdude, I was in Fl. for the month of Dec. Drove down from Ct. (Got 27 MPG). I wanted a tune, but could'nt deceid between Hypertech and Trifecta, There were Two places near where I was staying, Brothers Performance and Bob White Automotive, After talking with Artie from Brother's, I deceided to try Hypertech. The day I was supose to go and pick up the tunner, Artie from Brothers called me to tell me that Hypertech were having troubles with the V6 Camaro's, were redoing their tune for the V6 and that it woud'nt be ready untill Feb. With that I deceided to try the Trifecta tune. Bob White, He did the tune, cost me $400 but what a diff. I gained 20HP!! and my Gas Mileage on the Hwy went from 27 to 29. I would have paid twice that for that results. ( HP 275, Torq 246) One more thing ,The tune was for High test and I was running Reg. so those figures should inprove switching to High Test
