Hello I have a chally and just wondering whats a catch can. NOZ? just asking. I do a lot of drag racing but bikes. Ive raced plenty of cars but not like bikes. I used to have a 04 supercharged conv cobra 6 speed and I had it re tuned and the pulley changed with a cold air intake and it ran 12.5 with 19' rims and low profiles. couldnt launch it to hard cause it would wheel hop really bad so I launched as aggressive as possible without tearing up the rear end. I am interested in taken my chall to the track and seeing what it will do. Whats you 60 foot time? my 60 Foot on my 08 busa is 1.38 average and im trying to measure what I can get my car to do. so im pretty aware of specs and racing. Im asking cause your times are well under what my cobra ran and it was pushing 460 to rear wheels.

The speedo says 180 but where does the governor kicks in at? The camaro will actually do 180 miles per hour?

<160mph. But yes, you could remove the governor.

But one needs more way more than a cam, exhaust, tune, etc to get to 200.

Stock Camaro SS's (no performance tuning, but electronic speed limiter removed) have gone a little over 170 mph (172-174 mph).

Popular Mechanics tested the Camaro SS and Mustang Cobra out in the salt flats.

This is from the article, the 2010 GT500 Cobra did 180mph in their testing.

Is the Camaro even geared to reach 200 mph? i.e. at redline, given the lowest gear ratio it has, is the motor even spinning the tires fast enough to go 200 mph?
