You could get less expensive rims say Forgestars and get more expensive tires say Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Although I cant confirm this would be any better than Pedders Suggestion. I can say it put a smile on my face.

Just the cost is a little

for a daily driver.

19X?? is the way to go though.

I have 20X9.5 with mich pss 275 fronts weight on a scale was 55 lbs rim and tire. With 19's it would be lower

I like the Michelins, and I've read the Book, so I'm gonna have to save some money for the wheels and tires. Then the Brake upgrade.The CTSV brakes with slotted rotors. Definitely 19's to race and the same size all the way around. Pete, I already have the Camaro Track 2 X/A, beside the supercar coilovers what's left? LOL

All the bushings in the rear have been replaced with the solid stuff, it's all part of Pedders Road Course Track II pack with the X/A coilovers.

I really hate to throw this out there. But, watching this and watching a dude/dudette run a sub 9 sec in the 1320'. There is no comparison. To each his/her own. Thanks Pedders for this inspiring clip. I feel alive again! Time to learn to drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
