i was at the dodge dealership afew days ago, and one of the salesman said, you can order the challenger now,i repile how much for it, he said, little over 46,000.00, my mouth hit the floor, and i responed you better keep that, ya to rich for my blood, im camaro all the way, but thanks anyway

Here is a breakdown of dealer invoice and MSRP for the Challenger.

Factory Wholesale Price of the Challenger is $34803....so even at wholesale this car is well over $30K

On a side note, those stock 20in rims with a narrow 245 tire on the SRT-8 will only slow this car down.

Yep.. but keep in mind this is the top end SRT8 automatic, starting in 09 they will be rolling out the 5.7s and the V6 all with manuals as well as autos.

yeah whats all this speculation about the challenger coming out with a 505hp hemi engine. the srt8 is the top of the line engine for dodge besides the viper. is this because dodge heard what bob lutz said and i quote "We have 100 more hp to throw on top of that if needs be comes to throwing the zo6 in" hmmm and where are people getting this info about chevy saying forget what we know about engines can i get a website for this quote. i wanna know if this is a bad thing or a good thing. (probaly good but just checkin twice)

I know this thread is kinda old, but I didn't know where else to post this and didn't want to start a new thread for the Challenger.
My husband just got an '09 SRT8 and in the information center on the instrument panel, it has: 0 - 60 MPH, Braking distance, 1/8 mile time, 1/4 Mile, and instantaneous G-force.
Nothing like encouraging people to break the law!!!! LOL!
