I wanna say Summer 2010 as well. By that time, I may be either still here in
Chi-town with jacked up taxes or in Charlotte, NC., pocketing money from a 60 percent decrease in cost of living. However, whenever, I must have a home first. Can imagine having her exposed to so much snow and salt. She is gonna be garaged kept.

I'm gonna be driving it off the lot paid. I have 25k for it set aside right now, been throwing in + or - 4k a month on it for a bit now. I don't wanna have to deal with lenders either. So I'm gonna plan my return home like a couple days before the release and do my best to be driving it right off the truck. :slice:

Gotta finish paying off the wifes SUV...or as much of it as possible. I'll have to sell my SS (as much as I want to keep it, I won't be able to afford it). Once that is sold, whatever is left on the SUV will be paid off and the leftover going to a downpayment. My plan has worked twice before. No reason it shouldn't work third time!

Prolly late 09 to mid 2010. By then, more info will have been released as well. I've already been waiting this long. It won't hurt to watch all the other Camaro's going right off the lots (and some of them well over MSRP...ya'll be careful!).

That's what I'm gonna be doing. I wonder if we place our orders with the same dealership if they would give us a discount. Speaking of. Where's DMC? He should be able to answer us.

I will wait

I plan to get one of the convertibles gathering dust on the lot after all the hype dies down.

But: If they offer an (exact) color combo, that I know I want, which I know no dealership is going to have (such as: pale yellow paint, white stripes, white interior, white or black top). I sense I would have no choice but to order it.

Verts won't be out for a very long time, so I know I will be waiting.

I just hope I don't have to read lots of posts about (serious) problems on the very first production units.

If what Lutz said is true, Coupes out in Feb/March, Verts out in Aug/Sep (6 months).

Yes, but i don't plan on letting my camaro see any winter weather, and i want the coupe. I imagine there will be a good number of camaros that only see 6 months of the year, vert or not.

If the euro/dollar exchange rate remains the same, I should be able to pay my top dog camaro cash between otc and dec 2008.

but will the top dog be available that early?
