Excited! Getting my new sound system installed today, will have pics tomorrow........
Biggest mod expense to date but in the end it will be well worth it.
I went with the Pioneer AVHP3400BH and the Metra 99-3010S dash kit. Got everything for $775 installed. Best part is I finally get steering wheel controls!

Will do, it is supposed to be ready tomorrow morning. I am friends with the owner of the audio company doing the install and he said he was hooking me up with some cool extras.

Sick. I have a pioneer in my impala and it's great. Can't wait to see the final product.

I found out it has a HD radio tuner built in and my area has 5 HD radio stations. Is it that much of a difference in quality between HD and regular radio signals? I am not all that familiar with it.

I view it as a similar difference between mp3 auxiliary and CD

where are the steering wheel controls?

we misunderstood each other. He thought mine came factory with the steering wheel controls, I thought he could add them. No worries it came with a remote control so no biggie there.

Cool! I used to have a Pioneer in my old truck and it kicked a$$!
Looks good and hope you are happy with it!

So far after 1 week I am. This is my fault for going to look at the first 2013 that hit Roanoke. I played around with Mylink and fell in love with it. One week later I now have something in my opinion that looks and functions better.
Next on the agenda a reasonably priced back up camera. Any suggestions? My buddy who did the install already added the relay and wiring for it all I need now is the actual camera.

I highly recommend this one:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...V-6818.EM.html It is tiny, and it looks factory. Unless you are looking for it, you can't even see it.
