No to go off track here, but i bought mine with a short throw shifter installed. How can i find out what brand i have?

I don't have any experience with Hurst but MGW is a work of art. Everything is precision made and it shifts solidly. It really brings out the drive-train slop and the clunking of the TR6060 lol. IMO, its one of those rare products where the cost justifies what you get in return.

AH , poop .. Looks like MGW doesn't make a shifter for the V6.

it really don't matter,the aggressive high rev 1-2 shift is grind prone no matter what you got.that being said i have a hurst. expensive for what ya get. for the extra 70 bucks i would give the mgw a shot it looks well built.
i wish i did more research before i got mine. on a budget this is the way i to go
