I was catching up on the GM news and wondered if that held portents for what year the transition will be from 5th gen to 6th for our beloved Camaro.
Just wondering out loud. BTW, you can relax about Friday...

As you know I've argued this for years. I honestly see no downside.

The "answer" lies in what happens with/to/at a place on hallowed ground aka WIXOM Build Center...and I believe an LS7'd Camaro can sell at a rate = to current sales of ZR1 + Z06 combined.
Scarzz, the transition year is '15...for MY '16 model... Announce the LS7'd version in whatever name/guise it takes on in the next few months (by NYAS), order as MY '14s by this fall, build-out as MY '15. It works for BOSS, it works for 662 hp Shelbys...it can work/make monie$ for Camaro, too. 2 MYs, and I'm fine with that. And I guarantee NO REBATE$ REQUIRED! |

I resemble that remark...
In days of old, one of my favorite lines to "test the waters" with a fine young lassy was to suggest, "For one thin dime, you too can get LUCKY!" I do have some souvenir dimes to prove it worked...and I NEVER accepted wooden nickels... |

Who would have ever thought that Chevrolet would release an LS& powered Z/28 without a leaked VIN card? There were no clues out there. Chevrolet never hinted at an LS7 powered 5th Gen with their SEMA builds. I for one am shocked. SHOCKED! I'll bet the world is coming to an end tomorrow.

It is sooo quiet I plastered the VIN card in every thread that referenced a Z/28 in the title

Wish I could say I was excited about this... will name for a nice option or a Z28 but we need more HP.
