I think you made the right decision if looking "into the future."

It's that its three boxes, about 100 lbs each. The price sounds insane to me as well but I've not been given the box dimensions and exact weights yet. My buddy Eric who owns Innovative Diesel Performance and Billet Speed offered to ship the packages with his business account also. The fellow who has the charger is dealing with a family member going through serious medical challenges, so he is currently not in the same state as the charger.

Bottom line is that if the shipping is anywhere near the $600 he is saying, I'll jump in the 40+ mph Cruze and just make the 11 hour trip down to him. I spent years driving from coast to coast, an 11 drive is just warming up for me.

I'll know better when he actually gets me the sizes/weights of the boxes.

Sent from a Galaxy S3, far....far away.
it doesnt cost $600 to ship a full SC kit.

I'm still waiting for dimensions and weights, but the price to ground ship shouldn't be much more than $150. Even insuring the packages couldn't add that much.

I don't think I even paid that much when I had my 91 Z28 shipped from Florida or my 01 Z28 shipped from Texas.

I agree. I think the guy who bought my Genesis had it shipped to Florida for like $500ish

If I don't get a job after graduating I'm just going to buy a truck and get on Shipping Wars. I love that show.

You should buy a box truck to ship 1 or 2 small little items.

I was thinking more like a 1 ton dually to haul something like this:

Certainly not overkill

Hey guys...
so i have something new i want to do not decided yet.. but i was thinking after buying the headers, vmax, tune and razi body kit i will spending almost 3k after installation and all i will achive is from 14.4 to may be 13.50 or more.. and i dont think i will drag race every single week.. so i am thinking instead of this i should just buy a bike.!! Nothing too fancy just a Ninja 250 or a 600 or something similar for around 3k..
I figured if i had to sell the camaro i wont get money for my modds back but i can sell the bike and get almost every thing back.. plus all these bikes are making me jealous
You think i should go for a bike or stick with the plan go less than a second faster once a week..! logically the bike wins.. what would you do? and does any one has a bike.. is ninja 250 smaller in size than the 600 ? i dont care much about going fast cuz i know i will regardless on the streets.. haha

Been there with the bike! Don't get me wrong I loved it.... But the biggest problem with a bike are other drivers.... I would rather have the air bags... The only problems I had with riding were other drivers... And that is something you have no control over. Just keep that in mind... Good luck with your decision!
