Saw Buggati Veyron today!
My wife and I were out and about town today (Indianapolis) running errands and shopping when we passed a Buggati Veyron going the opposite direction! I almost pissed myself! Most incredible car sighting I have had to date!
Unfortunately my wife was just not as impressed as i was. She said, "What? Its a car". I figured you guys could probably appreciate this much more than she could. |

Impressive!!
I must admit, though...I had to Google Image search cause I had no idea what car you were talking about...now I do...and again, Impressive! I probably would have soiled myself. I have a sighting to share - actually my Uncles, not me...but hey? He saw on the highway - going in the opposite direction, 3 or 4 Dodge Vipers, a Lambo, a Ferrari, and then another Viper (all one after the other in that order in a row)....I guess they were weaving in and out of the other drivers on the road. Thought it was pretty cool. |

A Veyron! Dang!
I'm suprised when I see a Gallardo or Ferrari. Yesterday, the wife and I get on the HWY. Going in the opposite direction is a SOM Z06. Then, 20 seconds later, another SOM Z06 passes us. Then a black Z06..and a few seconds later a black C6. I'm pretty sure they werent' driving together. But, it is not an everyday ordinary thing to see so many vettes on the road. It was quite a suprise and you guys know how I like the SOM Z06! |

Since I live 20 minutes from Bowling Green and drive to campus and everything, a Corvette sighting is an everyday thing here. Especially on weekends... But I'm definitely not complaining because there are some very nice ones around town

Here is an amazing video showing this thing in action.... truely impressive! That is it! Only the one I saw was silver and black. I can not imagine dropping 1.5 million on a car... I can't imagine having 1.5 million period, but that is beside the point. I really wish i could have witnessed that thing do 0-60 in 2.5 secs..... |

It's obvious you watched the whole video, TAG...
Seriously though, how much did he say that car wieghed in at? With a V16, 4 turbos, 10 radiators, and all moving externals (spoiler, CHASSIS as a whole!) - I'd be interested to know how heavy it is... |

Women just don't understand... they nod and let us buy our cars, though, thank God
I was watching a TV show a while back...don't know if you've ever seen it, called "Home Improvement". It's a sitcom...goofy husband/father loves to supercharge EVERYTHING...he built a jet engine lawn mower...anyways, he also loves old cars: the REAL classics...'40 Fords and the like (he builds them) So his wife once told one of her friends as he completely ignored her while looking at a car : "To men, Tires are like boobs. And Cars have four of them...we don't stand a chance" I don't know why I remember that...I just do. |

I saw a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren the other day while we were parking at a resturant. Said something to my wife and she looked at it and said "it's nice". I looked at her and said "that's it? It's nice?"
Usually she's a little better....her favorite car is the Viper (she does like I do, turn down the radio and roll down the window to listen to them drive away/drive by) and she'd love to have a Jag XK series convertible too. Then she acts like that around the SLR? I don't know what to think. |

I followed a Gallardo on Saturday night/ Sunday morning. has anyone else ever been behind one of these at night. The tail pipes kept illuminating every once in a while. I assumed it was when he shifted. Any ideas?

He might be running it rich, but I know a few gallardo and murcielago owners. They've never seen it happen because of the muffler placement but I see it once in a while. Not everytime I follow them though.
