just like u said, "Car feels strong when driving though, so I suppose that's what matters"

and yea, i had very high expectations and ted saw my frown when i got the numbers, but he assured me that he hasnt seen any high numbers with the same bolt ons as mine

ARH LT's, xpipe, cats = 30hp / .20 = 24
CAI intakes = 15hp / .20 = 12
tune = 20hp / .20 = 16
------------------------
total = 52rwhp + 320rwhp stock = 372

so i guess mines is right about there
Well there are always differences some L99 stock dyno 310wHP and some 330wHP.. Ted did a CAI shootout and the CAI gained 9wHP (if I remember right)
Dyno all read different. You can go to a dynojet somewhere and then it will dyno 398wHP.. What matters is how fast it is on the street or your trap speed at the track..

Interesting thread.... Given that I went 13.15@106.77 @ what, 4250 raceweight, that would with 20% drive train loss put me around 320rwhp stock.

Interesting to note 37x rwhp for Padre with bolt-ons, that was on a Dynojet?

The baseline pull was done with all the bolt-ons listed in my sig except the heads and cam, however I returned the tune to stock before giving them the car. I was pretty suprised at how low the baseline was with all that stuff on there, just goes to show how much a tune can bring out of those bolt-ons because I'm sure it was way higher than that with my jannetty tune on there. The car felt very strong before I got the heads and cam and well, just feels like an animal now. I can't wait to see what FI is like.

Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention my car only has 2000 miles on it, so maybe that could affect the numbers? It looks like the real power comes from LTs. I know many people posted about gaining 20+ HP with high flow cats, but I'm beginning to doubt that works for everyone.

In my case, it's hard to know because I don't have an all stock baseline. Maybe I would've only pulled 310 stock...

Here is mine, before and after the TVS2300 and GM ported heads:

Before

After TVS, LG Exhaust:

Then, after the GM ported heads it went to

541rwhp and 547torque.

Definitely talk to your tuner. It sounds like it needs some adjustments.

I'm done with mail order tunes, just not worth it.

I agree that I'd be cautious about letting someone tune my car via email, but there are a few sponsors on the forum that seem to do great work.

I dont have my dyno sheet, but I re-dynoed my car after installing the yank converter, and as I suspected, the tq read lower because of the loose converter (unlocked on dyno), but the peak power went up about 5hp which makes me believe the yank may be a little more efficient up top than I thought.
