I'd like the most bang for my buck
I have a 2LT. I've read every single exhaust thread. I can spend at the most about $300. What's the best exhaust SOUND that I could get with that? I've heard Scrming's exhaust and liked that one...

yeah you're probably right. I guess at best Im looking at a muffler delete/Straight pipes set up. Does anyone know if that will make you NOT pass inspection? and also I've heard different things about the sound I will get from this. does anyone else have 1st hand knowledge? any help is appreciated.

I'd say with a $300 budget, either scrming's AR25 setup or suavecito1177 Magnaflow setup (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36580).
If you can't get the sound you want for $300, don't waste your money on doing a muffler delete/straight pipe setup. No one liked it and no one has kept their car like that after trying it. It's not worth spending your money on it.

$300 is gonna be tough. I'd say learn to love the stock sound until you save up more. Whatever you do, DO NOT do a straight pipe setup, it sounds absolutely awful on this car.

Get a set of mufflers that you like, such as flowmaster, magnaflow etc, and have an exhaust shop cut the stock ones out and install the new ones. That should cost you about $300.
