I know......and to be quite honest, I though I would get some "STATIC" from some people here......but, all I have had was POSITIVE feedback.....AND after they saw the video, there have been quite a few people that wanted to do the UPGRADE too, which is why I made the DIY. ACTUALLY, quite a few people here on C5 have EXPERIENCED it in person.....numerous times!!! LOL

Just wanted to give everyone a little update.

Its Sunday the 28th of Aug. I got a link in the mail from the company listed in the link in post #1, and their website is down or having issues. IF you have the need to contact them, their number is
1-800-259-8627

I will be calling them up to see "WHATS UP"? could be they are revamping they site, or they don't even know they have a problem.

I'm starting to really come on to this whole idea, with the HUD in combination with the horn modification it kinda adds to the whole fighter jet appeal. While on the road, just get some jerk in your sights then flip it on and let your audible "missiles" fly.

I'd like to wire it to one of these fighter switches to really add to the whole appeal.

I was debating working out a setup like that or else just nabbing a 118 watt PA system, so I can just call the nameless jerk or negligent motorist out.

Any assistance you could offer in the installation of either of these concepts would be greatly appreciated!!

that switch nothing but a simple toggle switch with a fancy cover....so that is easy, in fact, they have those same switches at the local Auto Zone. as far at the HORN MOD....if you look at the bottom of the first post....there is a VERY DETAILED set of install instructions. if you need anything else or don't understand something, jsut shoot me a PM.

My dad gave me a set of air horns that have been on every car he has ever had since 1975, and they have been on every car I have had so far as well. Let's just say they don't make em' like they used too. Those things can cause hearing loss.

Oh I love it too! My favorite thing is when your sitting in traffic and you hear a bunch of annoyed people honking their horns, and then I give it one good 10 second burst, then silence LOL.
