For BMW, the M3 and the new M5 will destroy the Camaro, no disrespect.

I test drove a 645 before purchasing the SS.. I think it would be an interesting go ahead... pretty sure the SS has more power & weighs about the same.. So would give the slight edge to the SS

For Mercedes any thing with "AMG" will take an SS. This is with new models. I've beaten older models like the C32 AMG and S55 AMG.


The SS can run even with a BMW M3, 1M, and x5/6M on straights. M5 and M6 are slightly faster in all categories. Again this is with newer models. An SS will take respectable older models such as E39 M5 or E46 M3.

Ive driven all mentioned except 1M and X5/6 M.

An Audi S4 runs 12 second 1/4 miles(so it would be close), an Audi TT RS runs 11s. A BMW 1 M would be close as well.

Audi claims the S4 runs 0-60 in 4.9 seconds but they don't post 1/4 miles times. I saw it runs 13.2 in a magazine. However Road & Track ran 4.5/12.9

MotorTrend ran the M1 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and 1/4 mile in 13.2. Car and Driver got 4.4/13.1

I found this website that is a 0-60 and 1/4 mile database of the top auto mags.

Just for everyone's information. The Audi TT RS only pulls those times with the the 7 spd DCT...

The DCT version of the Audi TT RS will not be available in North America, only the 6MT.

The Audi TT RS 6MT will still pull mid-high 12s without the DCT.

stock-anything M and possibly the 135i

Modded-135i and 335i..if they can make it down the track without the HPFP going out (sorry, if you don't know BMW then you may not get that joke)

don't know much about the MBs

and just for future refrence, it's Bimmer I'm on E90 post and they get all worked up about that for some reason..lol

UH............NO. A very Smug guy in a new M5 found out the hard way that he needs to be more careful what cars he try's to destroy My car is not an auto though. He might have faired better tangleing with an automatic car.

Last gen m5/m6, the upcoming models will probably destroy, Any AMG with the SCd 5.4, the 6.2, or the new turbo 5.4, the new 5 series with the turbo 4.4 and the new bez turbo 4.6 should be drivers races, the larger turbo V12 cars (even if not AMG), the SLS and Mclaren SLR of course, the BMW Z8, the 2000ish M5 should be a close race, The SLK55 with the NA 5.5 should be quicker, BMW Z4 and the Z4 with the 3.0 turbo should be a drivers race, There are probably more, i just can't thinkof them right now. Oh, and doesn't the M5 and M6 run well into the 12s in the 1/4 mile?
