Michelin Pilot Super Sport 315/35/20 for my 1LE
I have the opportunity to buy a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport 315/35/20 tires that were mounted and then taken off.....never driven on and 2yrs old. I know the PSS are a high quality tire and can take the cold better than the Goodyear F1 tires (thinking more about winter storage than driving). I really doubt I'll ever take my 1LE to an autocross track (to chicken S**T I'd crash or damage the car). Now I am having second thoughts about buying them, even though I'm getting them for $275 shipped.

I don't even have my car yet and I'll take 'em. Good tires for cheap is like sex with a super-model for free. You don't question it, you just do it.

I don't the 315's will work on the front bc it might damage electric ps, but you could use them for an extra set for the rears

I just got my new PSS's and I would go for that deal just to save them and replace when the new ones where out. That is an awesome deal.

The 315/35/20 tires would go on the back and either 285/35/20 or 295/35/20 tires would go on the front. I never intended to keep a square set up.....it would look silly!

There are some folks around here doing it only in 19" tires. Quote:

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix.
