I agree with you on the driver aspect.

Not up on Mustang vs. Vette on the road courses, so I can't comment there.
How much time do you spend at the local track, or are you saying you've never read about it in a magazine? A lot of people in this thread talking about the track like it's playstation.

Bit lame of him then to challenge you without mentioning the mods he has.

You sir are OUT OF YOUR MIND if you think a 03-04 Cobra will out handle a 2013 1LE Camaro. Apparently the "Terminator" Mustangs had a lot more HP right from the factory vs a stock 1LE but even still. That was a very naive statement IMO. The 1LE runs almost identical times around Laguna Seca as the 662hp 2013 GT500 and the 1LE CONSISTANTLY outruns cars that are considered to be "faster" "better" "more expensive" etc etc

His car DID have a full interior and thats why I BOLDED the RUMORED @ 8 second car. I told the guy I didnt believe it bc 8.99 requires a roll cage of course AND a chute and his car didnt have anything of the sorts. Stock battery location, no "wheelie bar" capabilities set up in the rear.....just didnt jive to me as an 8 second car but that doesnt mean it's not close.

Feel free to click the link in my sig to see my build or check out my garage for a list of mods.

Thanks for the opinions.
Just curious where you are getting the "Consistantly" results from outside of one magazine test, where the cars were not run on the same day nor in the same conditions therefore the results are meaningless. A better review of the 1LE can be found in it's standing in sanctioned racing events where it competes against other stock offerings. Also if you haven't owned a Terminator how do you know whether the car can compete or not? I've had one and also had a 5.0 and I can tell you the Terminator would smoke my 5.0 in the corners. I'm sure if a stock 1LE owner here wanted to test against a stock Terminator, Boss, or 5.0 a quick trip over to SVT could get a race setup.

I highly doubt that the Cobra in this story is an 8-sec car, but you never know. Maybe you can talk him into a race for bragging rights only. The pressure is all on him.

Multiple magazine and video reviews of the 1LE have been VERY positive reviews and it DOES outrun MUCH more expensive and lighter cars with more HP. Most noteably @ Laguna Seca and VIR.

As far as the 2nd bolded inquiry.....I have a buddy with a 700+WHP 03 Cobra(terminator) on meth that I've raced many times. I've also helped him work on his car a couple times and ridden in it a few times as well. I KNOW what those cars are capable of.
Once I did my cam...it's basically a drivers race. PM me if you want the youtube like to me pulling a car length on him from 40-140+.

Considering there is a stand alone fuel cell mounted next to the coolant reservior, I would say there was at least one additional power adder he wasn't telling you about.

Fairly certain that's just an aftermarket reservoir for the liquid side of the intercooler.

Thats surprising you can pull a 700rwhp 03/04 with your 1/4 numbers.
You have a badass car for sure but my old 2.8 Kenne Bell Cobra trapped 128mph in the 1/4 with 650rwhp 560lbft.
I am by no means a professional either.

Again...my 11.6 1/4 time was hitting redline going into 3rd and literally only have a handful off passes in this car and NONE since cam install and retune...and thats on hard compound street tires in full trim. Need some seat time in this car @ the strip for sure.

sending you a PM with vid
