Elite E2 Catch Can Install Help

So i'm so confused...I have an E2 can installed..I have seen and heard and read so many different ways on how the hoses are supposed to go..I even emailed Elite this morning...So if i have it right, the bottom pcv port on the engine is the (outlet) that goes to the top of the can (inlet to can) and the side (outlet of can) goes to the top pcv port (inlet) on the motor ?

That is correct. The vapors go thru the top and get trapped in the wire mesh and etc in the top of the can, builds up then drips down creating the oil puddle at the bottom of the can.

I can understand, I was super confused before I installed mine because I searched too many threads. You cant go wrong with the install instructions.
