does diablo offer trans tuning yet?

my neighbour really wants to tune his l99--- he keeps asking me which handheld is the best. i keep wanting to say diablo-- i have had several of them and really like 'em. but for the l99 tranny tuning is a must because they're soooooo sloppy.

so does diablo offer trans tuning yet (torque management reduction, shift firmness and shift points)

or is a guy gonna have to go superchips even though i really would prefer not to.

Or you could just buy Hptuners and/or EFI live which has 10x the capability of any hand held tuner, including transmission tuning. Then have ability to tune other buddies cars if you wanted to and not be restricted to tuning one car.

Call me crazy though.

Mike, What are the major variables that you adjust for an A6 tune? Or maybe I should ask, what a good tuner would do?

If I had to flash back to stock would I have to come to your shop or can it be stored in a handheld? Or would I have to buy something like HP tuners or EFI to store the stock tune and your tune?

I just spent my cash on a Borla ATAK, so I'm doing some research while saving up for a tune.

i agree, but i would be the one doing the tuning on this car, and i don't want to be responsible if something goes wrong.

and i dont think hptuners offers trans tuning yet either

Hi Duke... Mike had to restore my stock tune for me until Diablo comes out with something for their handheld. Others like Vector Tune have mail in tunes where you could probably do it yourself. But since you're so close to G-Force that's where I would go. (Wish I lived closer to them...) Top notch customer service.

A6 trans tune is one of the best things you can do to wake up that car of yours.
