I know the a/c compressor shuts off because the tune tells it too. If you have enough coolant capacity, it should still cool well until the compressor comes back online.
Curious to see how an interchiller would do at the Texas mile - I’ve read that’s where the ice tank shines is running wot for that long although we would never do that on the street .

That would be a interesting test. But it was never designed for that? hypothetically the car with the chiller will be starting a ait2 of around 30* or lower with the stage 2 kit. Car 2 would be starting at around 15* above ambient temperature, so say on a 90* Texas day ait2 at 105* adding some ice will lower the temp but never down to what the interchiller can do. i would assume the ice would be melted by the end of 1/4 mile mark then just keeps heating after.
At what point in the mile would the interchiller car get to 105 ait2? i would guess at the 1/2 mile point. just all a guess on my point.

this is why i kept my stock heat exchangers plumbed in with a bypass valve. so at least at wot it still has the exchanger doing some work to cool it.

There’s some really good info about how things are doing . Chiller vs ice tank vw meth . I don’t remember which post count it was but towards the bottom of page there’s a guy with a killer chiller doing a wot pull in his ctsv
