I thought they added a bunch of crap to the G37 and its weight went up and times went down?

And I wasn't picturing a monkey and a football until I read that patriotpa- and now I am...thats not what I want in my head damn it.

I traded my 09 G37S for a 2SSRS. G37 is a much better built car but the Camaro is a show stopper. Different cars hard to compare. Traded my 07 Vette for the G37. Just wish this cool car was not a Chevy. The service has been horrible with my dealer. Paid out of pocket to get bad tire replaced because they told me GM would pay them back.

True Story.

A guy in his late 20’s to mid 30’s runs up on my ass in a new G37 trying to get me to play. We are on an 8 lane shopping center road. I was having fun by myself and getting lucky to have an open lane at each light. I didn’t want to street race because it’s dangerous but this guy whips around me so I speed up so I can get to the only open lane at the next light to continue my launch fun but he speeds up more then whips in front of me to take the lane so I have to brake hard. At this point I know he’s going to launch hard to show off. I regress 20 years in maturity and he launches first I’m right behind him. I quickly bark tires in second and change lanes, he is winding it as hard as it will go but I just blow right by him and shut down just as I hit 3rd about one car length ahead of him. I had him beat before getting out of second and he even started one car length ahead of me and launched first. I go back to driving within the law and a few lights up the road he manages to get next to me. His face is beat red and says “that thing got 425 HP” and I said “426 HP”. He says nice then I said I assume you were in it all the way and in a lying tone of voice he says uh no but I can if you want to.

Polaris Parkway Columbus, Ohio first week of September. Dude if you’re reading this just admit it, you got spanked.

The G37 may be able to beat the V6 Camaro but it has nothing for the SS.

My apologies go to law enforcement officers and concerned citizens. I promise to try to never do that again, I don’t know what came over me.

Hmmm. I like the G37, quite a bit in fact. That said, I think a G50 in both coupe and sedan is a no brainer Infiniti should do but for some reason wont. Further, as much as I like the G37 I am alaways surprised to hear people talk about how much they love the engine note. The latest Nissan V6, as usual, is a phenomenal powerplant.......but it sounds like a farm implement. The exhaust note on the 3.7L is terrible.

Considering you were in a SS......it was animal instinct.

The G37 is a beautiful car, step up from the G35 which I wasn't much of a fan of, but the G37 looks better in and out, and it's pretty fast, unfortunately it's priced pretty close to an SS so I would go with the SS\RS in a heartbeat to be honest, but the interior of the G is quite nice

quick fun-fact:

The VQ engine was taken OFF the Wards best engines list, and the LLT has made it there for the second-year running, now.
