All you people with the A6 I feel your pain. When I first bought bought a4 ls2 gto It would not go 13's in the 1/4 hardly at all. I think my best was a 13.8 which happened once. Most of my runs were a 14.2 @ 97mph. I was disscusted to say the least. I got a hp tunners dyno tune and went back to track fist pass was 13.2 @ 107 and eventually when 12.96 @ 109. I gained over a second in the quarter with just a dyno tune. My point is take your camaro to a reputable show and get a dyno tune right away. Have them shut off your torque management, your afm and all that bs. You will love that car afterwards, best thing you can do for it and best advice I can give anyone. I highly reccomend an aftermarket dyno tune. Hope that helps.

But then you lose your warranty, not a good solution. The car is supposed to be a sub 5 second 0-60 car.

This is just common sense.. I still don't understand all the peope coming on here telling you that you need a tune and so forth..

My best 1/8 mile time is 9.0 at 80mph with a 2.2 60' time (13.8 @102). In 85-degrees and 85% humidity everything runs slow. Yes I could improve my launches too, but a Charger SRT8 with MagnaFlow exhaust ran 13.9. You give us cooler temps and we are both running mid 13's. Give me a 1.9 60' time and I'm 13.1. Heat and lunach are everything (almost everything).
You ran in almost 90 degree heat so I would not expect you to reach 80mph traps. But is does seem your car is running a little slow.

Well I have never had a issue with my tune. If for some reason I needed to go in for warranty work I would simply flash the ecm back to stock. Also on a stock tune dont do a burn our or spin the tires at all at the track. This is what activates the torque management and slows you down.

Because the tune is whole problem with the car. Thats the only thing holding it back. Im sure gm will in time come up with a better tune for all you a6 guys. But it still wont yeild the results of a good professional aftermarket dyno tune. Iam not sure if hp tuners or carputing.com has their a6 l99 support out yet. I can tell you that If it was me and my a6 camaro was a turd I wouldn't think twice about getting it done. Especially after seeing the results with my gto.

There's obviously more to this than tuning.

I meant to say V6 Camaro.. in my post above.. As I read it from another thread.. Ultimately the more people you bring up this issue too, the better help you will get. It is just amazing how long it has taken for the dealer to take notice and how many times you've had to drive there back and forth..
