I refuse to accept that the SS costs over $30k. If it does, I will drop something in my pants that allows me to build a building. [If the previous euphemism isn't acceptable, mods can feel free to edit it to say, "If it does, I will be very unhappy."]

$40,000 for a loaded SS means I'll look elsewhere, thanks.

Hey, you never know since original estimates in the US were about $29 for a base SS if I'm not mistaken ... got to figure the Rs package alone will be $1500 - 2000 so $31 - 33? could be close, but wasn't that back in June '08. I'm just trying to figure that $35,000 US should buy a very nice RS/SS in my book! I'm certainly not going for all the options, ... just the looks!

Patiently Waiting...

Okay but you should PROBABLY wait and see exactly what the term "LOADED" is referring to and also wait for REAL prices not the estimates whether they are close or not....

Hi, Your price estimates I would say are close ( $28 - 30 US ) Please keep in mind that the $30,000 starting estimate is Canadian Funds .. US is $27,000 |

$37,000 for a fully loaded V6 is absolutely ridiculous.

If those prices come out to be accurate, i will be looking for another car, and even though i hate mustangs, i will just buy one out of spite now.
ok maybe not, but it would make me that mad. now that i think more about this, there is no way in hell those prices are right, or even close. Base LS 23k,( still too high IMO though) but fine whatever, but for a base LT being $4,000 more when it only adds Fog lights, DIC, and a power driver seat. GM isn't that stupid.

Yes, with the $33,000 estimate on the SS in the USA Add about $1500 for the RS package since the SS already gives you the rear spoiler and 20" wheels and tires ( those two are apart of the RS package for the LT so expect $2500 if ordering the LT instead of the SS ) In other words, for the $35,000 US you get the following:
Base SS with V8 and 6-speed Manual Trans .. all standard freatures incl. A/C .. RS package and equipment .. Strip package dual hood or single and the widest smile you've ever had! To add sun, that will cost you approx $700 - 900 more. |
