How much boost ?
How much boost is safe enough for ls3 engine with stock internals ,as I'm using my car as daily drive .
Currently I'm running 6 psi which I believe it's little low IMO.

Everybody will tell you different numbers based on a number of things. I'm currently at 15lbs, however, I would say 8-10 at most.

I'm using 3.8 pulley which should give me 7.5 to 8 psi ,I thing I'm losing boost due the LT headers .

All you'll be able to do is put a 3.6 pulley on and call it a day. Any more than that and you need fuel upgrades. |

That'll do it.
Jamie, will running a BAP help if he wanted to run more boost on a smaller pulley?

With the TVS any more than 10 psi in a 6 rib will generate belt slip. That blower is pretty much the biggest pain in the ass to make any decent boost. |

If you run meth I'd say 12 all day. No meth I'd stay around or less than 8.

It's not even about boost that matter to a motor, it's dynamic compression, cylinder pressure. Anything over 650whp is on borrowed time.

Of course if you go cheap end and buy the basic snow performance kit and your pump craps out you're going to have a problem. But if you buy the good meth kits you'll never see that happen. Meth is God's gift for people who don't have access to good fuel and/or E85. It's cooling effects are also pretty ba. My spray is a much better coolant but who sprays all day .
