Moving from Austin to Nashville area the beginning of July , I would live to join the club as well. I will be downtown for the first few months in corporate housing while I figure out where I want to live . Networking is a good thing , while I figure the Nashville area out.

We have a great event this weekend, the Big Ugly Autofest in Clarksville to raise money to help our brave military personnel and hteir families. Here is some information:
June 28th: Open Car Show at the Clarksville Speedway our unit Bravo Co Big Ugly 96th ASB is having a big Car/Truck/Bike and craft show. Big Ugly Autofest and Craft Show. Times: 10am - 6pm. Registration $25.00. Dash Plaques to the 1st 75 ent...ries. Booth space $25.00 per lot. Location Clarksville Speedway, 1600 Needmore Road, Clarksville, TN. 37042. All proceeds go to supporting Soldiers & Family members of B Company, 96th Aviation Support Battalion. This is ONE not to miss. See More








All of that are going to the Big Ugly car show in Clarksville the 28th. The Nashville group will be meeting up with the Memphis group at 8:30 am at Old Hickory blvd. on I-24 West . Then head to Clarksville from there.We want to be able to roll when the Memphis group gets there so be there before 8:30.
The Memphis group has 9 Camaro's and one Vette coming so lets show big!!!
This group will meet with the rest of us who will gather at Great Escapes Movie theater in Clarksvills so we can cruise in together. We will pull out as soon as the Memphis/Nashville group arrives around 9:00 AM. If you cannot make it to Great excapes before we pull out, just head over on your own. You just will not be assured of being able to park with us. Please RSVP by responding to the club thread here:

James, and Mary Britt will host Camaro Creations open house cruise-in on July 26. Their family enjoys doing this each year. Lunch usually includes drinks barbecue, and a fish fry plus all the fixings. All year camaros are welcomed plus a few chevy cousins. We'll be meeting that Saturday morning at K mart in Goodlettsville,at 8:30
and cruise out together at 9:00. We'll arrive around 10:00.After lunch they usually have a police escorted country cruise, then return to hang out. The event is usually over around 5-6 pm. A few of us have gone the past 3 years, and have had a blast.
They also give away a few door prizes. For those of you who aren't familiar with Camaro Creations, they are a family run full on camaro restoration shop. Restoring mainly first gen camaros from rotisserie to turn key. James, Mary, and their family are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. I hope you'll be able to attend this event.

Black Beauty will be taking the lead on this one.

A few of the folks try to make it to the cruise-in at The Avenue (Belk corner of the parking lot) on Friday evenings. I am not certain that I will be able to make it today, but will try. NTMAD8TR attends frequently.

Yes I will be there today if the rain will stay away. GR8WYHT is shined up and ready to show up some Mustangs. Talked to REDHOTSS and they are going to be out of town so can't be there today. But we definitely need some numbers since the mustang crowd called us out last Friday and said they were going to take back over the area where we park....

Some of us are heading over to Pleasant View, TN (between Nashville & Clarksville) this evening for their cruise-in 6:00-9:00 PM. It was pretty fun when Mike & I went to one last year. Anyone who wants is welcome to join us. Take exit 24 off I24 to the intersection of Hwys 48 & 41-A. Continue on 49 straight through the intersection in 49 & you will soon see folks directing you where to park.

Would love to go but the doctor hasn't cleared the wife for any car rides over an hour so I will just represent at The Avenue in Murfreesboro again. She won't be able to ride in a car for greater than an hour until September 2nd. Just in time to drive up to LS Fest. Hopefully will see some of you in the Boro tonight for those who can't go to Pleasant View.
