even my ford f150 towing rig has leather around the instrument panel and imitation leather instead of plastic across the dash

I'm 99% sure that whole dash is soft plastic/leather...not hard nastiness.

I'll spend a few hours every day staring at that interior, I'm not sure I can handle it, coming out of European cars
The people who GM invited to check out the car a few months ago generally said that everything is pretty easy to reach and read, and that the interior is much more livable than previous Camaros

I think once you sit in one, you'll like it... I found it to be very comfortable and fit my 6'1" large frame very well... I have absolutely no complaints about the car's ergonomics and interior feel... you really do have to see it in person to appreciate it.

I said it once, and ill say it again. A Vette is a Vette, and a Camaro is a Camaro, If the vette is so perfect, buy one! Ill keep my camaro nice and affordable, thank you!

And how can we tell if something it functionable or not from pictures?

So, what do we know about the 'ambient lighting'?

Is it only one color or does it have multiple color choices like the Mustang dash illumination option...?

And it glows from behind the silver trim accents on the dash and down the doors?

It comes in blue, but you can upgrade to orange.

That could be it, or i think i read somewhere they are behind, or on the backside of the steering wheel, so maybe you cant see them from that angle.

that's a nice way of saying you dont care how crappy the interior is

I do, I'm not buying it because it's a camaro, but because of it's performance, looks, and it's interior is a big factor in deciding, after all, what do you sit in and operate when your driving

they can make the hottest car on the outside, but if the interior is crap, well it just wont sell outside of the fanbase

The interior is VERY important to me, i just dont see how you can judge it and tell how functionable it iswithout sitting in it and actually touching it.

Im pleased with how the interior looks, i love it. and im overly excited for it to be my new interior.

You can't please everyone, especially when trying to make an affordable car.

I just cant wait til everyone can go sit in one and test drive it so you can REALLY say what you think

I think the interior is awesome. The gauges on the console and the blue ice ambient lighting is so cool. I think seeing one in person loaded with the manual SS will make you like it much more then pictures. I think its going to sell like HOT CAKES.
