whipple owners please help

I am getting ready to get a whipple installed on my ss and am looking for feedback on how much they whine . A maggie with a cog drive is not an option. And as I am sure it will be asked, I do prefer to have whine and a final goal of about 680-700 rwhp. A maggie with a cog drive is not an option. SO I have seen dozens of youtube vids of whipples on the dyno but none on the street under load and cannot really tell how much whine they have. I just want to be sure this is what I want before I put my down payment to the great ted jannety.

There is not much whine at all. All you will hear, is your exhaust.

Can't hear mine over the exhaust, but you will hear a little whistle as you get on it from the bypass. I love my whipple!!!

Thanks guys! The thing is I really dont want or need a sleeper and the first time I hearda rotts with a cog drive on a c5 it took me back to my 86 iroc with a weiand days! I guess I can live with little to no whine. I have heard nothing but great things about the whipple so its really worth it in the long run for me.

Yea, I was still on the fence about the blower then but...after I got the cam in I have been craving more! It's truly a disease...it all starts with one little intake and before you know it you have a 700 hp monster!

The thing is for me, and I know im about to be flamed for saying this, but If I am going to have a blower that whines, I WANT ONE THAT REALLY WHINES! The cogged maggie sounds perfect but there are some other issues there, that would take this thread in a whole nother direction. I had a chance to hear a KB at jannety and it whines but nothing like they do on a 4.6 mustang.

Whipple has more of a whistle and the the s/c whine, if you have a CAI it intensifies the sound, besides making 700rwhp is easy just add a cam and long tubes with a good tune, the whipple is one of the most efficient s/c and keeps the temps low

Hate to tell you but it doesn't stop at 700..... Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
