I would like to way in on this , I had a D1 on my 2010 camaro Heads/Cam A6 on 14psi it made 670 to the tires , but my dyno is stingy [ it trapped 134.89 mph in full street trim with stock gears and converter ] ... I would say if you keep stock cubes with D1 it will be close , IMO I would sell your d1 to someone with an P1 and just bolt in a F1-d this will get you the same curve as the D1 and deliver the WHP your looking for on either a 376 cid or a 416 ... This allows you to keep all of the brackets/piping and inter cooler ... You will need a fuel system to boot ...

we have been using a stock t56 for 5yrs with over 1000ftbs of tq setting the six speed record in et,mph and 60ft with zero problems.Yours may break but i would wait till it does unless you hit the lotto then why not lol

i agree. i know of a 2010 camaro with 1000ft lbs@3500rpms(92mm turbo)with the stock tranny. all he has is a twin carbon disk.

Black10, are you on the stock bottom at your HP? how much boost are you running. My plans are to pulley down the my D-1SC for 3 more lbs of boost to about 10psi. I am also adding an Alky Meth setup tuned for safety not power. relying on the extra power from the extra boost. I should be about 700 or so at the wheels. How has your centri setup been if it is indeed on the stock bottom? tried PMing you but dont have the option to when clicking on your screen name

I am in the same boat as you with my D1. I ordered Vengeance Stage-II Cam and I will be pulley down to 3.85 or 4.00 what ever gives me 10 -12 psi of boost. I have the Snow Stage3 meth kit for the same reason and will add race gas when i go to the track. Good luck, keep me posted how you do with the pulley change. I am hoping for 650 rwhp or higher.
