Thank you..that is exactly where I've seen it is inside of seals...I just couldn't place it in my foggy brain last night for some reason.

yall think if I did a ZL1 fascia conversion and rims that it'd make me a "poser?"

I woudln't do any badges.. I'd keep my SS badges.

it just looks REALLY good..

Nope. Your car. Do what you like, don't care what other people think. You are only posing if you put X badges on your car when your car is not X.

That's my thinking.. my friend disagrees.

Besides. if I went with Chris's turbo kit I'd be able to hang with a ZL1 (if I had a better driver than me..) so its not like I'd be doing it to a base v6 or something and putting full badges on it.

That hood is like $2k.. the fascia is like $500, lots of supporting mods for the conversion tho.. after rims and tires probably a $5-8k project.. it wouldn't be cheap!

I wouldn't do the hood personally...that would start looking ALOT like a ZL1....I'd go with an aftermarket hood and then the ZL fascia and wheels.

But...if you are fine with dropping 8k on that...I say put that 8k into a turbo kit and keep appearance how it is.....not like the competition would be able to see the front when you are passing them.

Yea.. I mean I like the car fine the way it is now.. I just like the idea of making it look more aggressive and farther away from the v6's appearance.

When you think about it.. the ZL1 is in the high 50s price tag wise. You can get a base vette for a little more, but the ZL1 comes with a TON of power for the price. To recreate a car like this from a 2SS even, would probably cost more than the price difference.

I didn't know they came with automatics as an option either. I kinda wish I woulda saved for a year or so and gotten a 2013.. :(

IMO do the Gary's Customs fascia, aftermarket hood, and aftermarket rims. That's what I'd do.

I wouldn't drop $8k to make it look more aggressive. I agree with JT, I'd rather put $8k into a turbo or SC kit, and then it would BE more aggressive.
