I, too, am waiting to see the results of the effort, both in terms of the performance numbers and the longevity of the rest of the Camaro drivetrain subjected to that kind of power. Personally, I think it will be up to the task in all but the most extreme circumstances.

I do have one request, please, please do not put a hokey see-through hood on this car. IMHO, it's an eyesore on the ZR1 and it would be even moreso on the Camaro.

Now that is art!

The LS9 is finding home in a few Camaros.

I was keeping up with this Camaro on EdmundsInsideLine.com, a 1969 with a LS9 and ceramic brakes
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...cleId=149191#2

I love both of them

You can pick up a 2010 GT500 for $49K, loaded.

As for how they would stack up, I'm pretty sure a LS9 powered Camaro would kill a stock GT500. Heck, it would probably kill a heavily modified GT500. At least I hope it would.
DaDaDaDah GT500 Reputation hero to the rescue, but you are right. You could easily make a Camaro with 650hp for less than the price of a GT500. Especially if you knew what you were doing, but it would involve building the bottom and top of a stock enginge with forced induction, or and LSX route. Many ways to beat Ford.

If they put the window in...let us see the supercharger, not the plastic cover of the supercharger.

that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....
