Jenny Craig was called. Weight is a high priority for the designers. The Camaro is NOT a Challenger.

I'm not too worried, and 4000lbs is WAY out in left field, as far as Im concerned.
Oh snap, they called Jenny. So does this mean that the challenger was on the Rosie O'donell Diet?

SS, we expected it

Good move F-bodyfather, very good move.
No waiting for that special Camaro unlike the 4th gen that waited 2 years after production (yes, there are some late 95's that had the SLP hood (that was it as the first SS.
We won't have to wait so long!
Yet, we have not heard what 3rd party Camaros there will be.
With interest and demand exponentially growing day by day, I have a feeling that the best is yet to be seen.

See you all in Indianapolis in September.

Best
Ricky

And that whistle is most likely a supercharger meaning that this is almost certainly the GT500 killer.
Originally the two wide stripes on the hood and trunk were Z/28 items on first gen. Camaros, after they started putting them on the first gen. Indy Pace Car version (which was a SS and not a Z/28) they started putting them everywhere, no longer had to be a Z/28. I don't like these stripes either, just does not do it for me, no problem as I'll just order stripe delete.

Is it me or the Camaro is starting to look a bit... "beefier" than the concept...?

i would love the idea of being able to chose between the 3.6,ls3, ls7, and the ls8. i would definately pick the ls7 also.

Get up this morning go to church. come home to find all this...

"sounded like a demon" and a "whistle" Oh man if this isn't proof that god answers prayers, I don't know what is....

Hell as of right now you could leave the jacked up prepro lights on there, put pinstripes on it and paint it Don Johnson - Miami Vice Pink and I'd take it.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best camaro news I've heard since they brought her back. HELL YEAH!

Everyone got pretty excited pretty quick. I don't want to sound glass half empty, but they are just stickers.
I just don't want to see all the "dissapointed" threads when/if it turns out there will not be a supercharged version and the whistle noise was nothing.

The whistle of a supercharger is 100% clear to anyone who post on these boards. I'm sure if it was something else they would know so.
