I live in Toronto Canada and it cost me about $120... Mobil 1 Synthetic is a MUST on this engine! Yeah not exactly cheap I guess come better weather no more; I'm doing it myself! Mind you this car also take about 7-8 liters (V8).

Ouch...8 quarts of M1 down here is about $60, plus a filter, and figure in labor if you have someone else do it.....any way you look at it -- it's not going to be a $25.00 oil change.

at my shop to get all the oil out for the anal people who sit there and watch us we just throw a lil red atf in the engine till the black from the oil becomes red, and we drain all that out also, then do the oil change.

on my old camaro i think i paid 60-62 bucks for oil/filter. do everything myself, a load cheaper.

It was recommended to me to use Mobil One 15-50 with my TVS2300, so I go to a local Mobil One lube shop near by, and they dont even carry it. :mad0260I had to go to Autozone to pay for the oil and filter and they still charged me $30.00 to change it. Now that is an expensive oil change.

Get the oil at Walmart. I always buy my mobil one there for my 99 SS. One 5 quart jug and an extra quart, and an AC filter, and I've spent about $35 changing my oil. So 45-50 if I were doing an 8 quart change in a 5th gen.

Your lucky you have a bert. Try driving an IROC up on ramps.... doesnt work to easy, atleast driving them up ramps the conventional way that is haha.

It's what is recommended for my Ducati, but I've never seen this for a car. Interesting. I'd also like to hear some opinions on that recommendation.
