Ok, well the LS/LTs don't have tremec trannies in them, so they should be good if that is the case.

That is weird. I just got the word that my car is now on the line?!? I think,

The next thing he will say to you, as your car is being delivered to you:
"You know GM had no idea how hot this car was going to be, they are out selling the market and demand is high. We had to add this little $15000 Market value Increase"

Beware!!!!!!

I thought the V6 tranny shaft was the one that was breaking in launch mode?

The V6 cars don't have the launch control function.

Yeah, I'm prepared to walk when that happens. I can wait till spring if I have to. But, a guy I work with insists he got his at sticker from them, long after most dealers in CA were doing 'adjustments'. And their web page advertised MSRP. That's why I went there. We'll see soon, I guess.

That makes no sense at all. My dealer when I got my car said the Automatic would take more time and he was surprised mine shipped before the others which were manual. My dealer also told me that it's about 50/50 Auto vs Manual sales, so your dealer is just making excuses. He would have no reason to lie to me my dealer since my car had already been delivered and I was just chatting while the Finance guy was doing all the paperwork.

Due to the most recent issue with the broken M6 tranny output shaft on SS Camaros, it is possible that the Order Work Bench is temporarily not allowing orders for the M6 tranny until this issue is resolved. This is the same thing with the Hurst Shifter and Body color Engine Covers due to the constraints on these items.

yeah sounds like your dealer has no clue and doesn't want you to walk so he is just trying to make things up.

Seems to be an issue. Not many were produced over the past couple of weeks and the ones that were are held in QC.

Check here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31809 There have been several issues with the 6m in both the V8 and V6 Camaros. The local dealer has an SS they are replacing the trans. It's very sad to see a new car sitting in pieces on the shop floor.

That is true and the way its sounding now, it could be on full constraint by the time the factory re-opens in the morning. So much for them catching up with all the orders. This will create a major order backup. Stay tuned.

this sounds like a more reasonable explanation.
