Just doesn't belong on the 6, IMHO.

I hope you have a turbo or super charger in there to make up for the embarrassment you will receive in the dust at off the line from non-imposters... ;-)

May not belong... but still looks DAMN GOOD on any 4th gen

Looks good, guy!
Where'd you get that fine piece of metal/fiberglass/carbon fiber?

So I just noticed... There are three fourth gens right there by your house. If I'm not mistaken, you said the red one was your sister's?? (I forget :p) is the black one yours too? Hell I'm already jealous of having two Camaros in your family.. but three.. that's ridiculous man!

It's a fiberglass hood and I got it from eBay brand new, and that black fourth gen is the car of my sister's boyfriend. Yeah it might not belong on fourth gen v6 but I don't care I just wanted it to look good and then maybe start on the performance.

I plan on buying an SS hood for the Z I'm thinking about buying, I've always been kinda skeptical about those hoods on ebay. Are you happy with the quality?

It's excellent but I do recommend if you are wanting one go for a metal one. The fiberglass is good but it's rather flimsy as in you can't have the original shocks to lift the hood because it might break when you go and close it. But I don't care about that little detail I'll just have to implement some sort of little metal stand.

For sure, I was looking at salvage websites to see if they had any slightly damaged ones that were savable.

Lookin good man! Fitment seems ok, paint looks smooth. The only thing I might suggest is a small drop to settle the body around those wheels a little bit... All-in-all the car looks good, keep her clean!

Never thought about it, but that would definitely make it look much better IMO. I hat having a hug gap between tire and fender.
