We have tested the spacers through the years on our climate controlled enclosed dyno and could never find any documentable gains on any of the GM applications.....including the LS3, but have only tested the LLT V6 in an open dyno and shown no gains....but that is not an exact test as the air is constantly changing. But my bet is waste of $$.

No not required. I have the TB and the tune. I did some data logging after the TB was installed. Vince at Trifecta found everything in order and nothing to alter.
