It's 323 hp at the crank... After you figure in the drivetrain loss, you get numbers like above as read at the wheels on a dyno. Check out the LFX dyno thread here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=233394

i am confused. i know the cai will add horsepower gains, but not the throttle body, i thought TB just helped with lag in acceleration.

While it is nice to see the gains, the 8.5 HP depicted in the first post is a 3% increase over the baseline run. Certainly nothing you're ever going to feel (as opposed to the throttle response, which by most accounts is what is noticeable).

There may be some slight airflow improvement that is responsible for some gain, but I'm willing to bet you could do back-to-back runs repeatedly with any car on any dyno and have a 3% variance.

Bottom line for me: It's nice to see the positive HP number, but that's not why I'd consider the PTB, and I wouldn't expect every install to yield that same increase, IMO.
