I hate to be a debbie downer....but as passes and credentials are starting to come in, I feel obliged to put a few things out there before the event:

People cannot enter the premises without proper event credentials.
Credentials are non-transferable.
Simply driving a Camaro is NOT an acceptable credential.

Would hate for any of our enthusiasts to cause an...awkward...situation. There will be security, people will be turned away unless properly credentialed...

That all said - I can't wait to see everyone!

I sure hope BBOMG got this squared away with all the passes they sold. I am coming on one of those and driving a long way to get there so I would hope they took care of that non-transferrable stuff.

I inquired about that today using the email address provided during the registration process. The answer was "Credentials are non-transferable".

7 hours is a long way for me Mike. I only put about 4,000 miles a year on my Camaro and 1200 of that is during Woodward week lol

We are bringing mine man. That forecast is looking terrible though. Starting to consider renting a car because I don't want to subject my car to that weather.

I don't see anywhere on the credentials where they have a printed name do they? How will they even know if they were transferred? I am not worried. I think BBOMG is connected enough that the ones they sold for charity on eBay will be able to transfer.

Just have Dad drive his then.

You still have to register when you arrive, they will be checking names at that time, is my guess.

Those BBOMG ones should not be an issue thou.

Bags are packed, the car is cleaned and the plan is to leave around 5 am in the morning for the 14 hour drive to Detroit.
