Just got it! 2012 1LT Victory Red Black Stripe, Loaded with some Mods - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've been coming to Camaro 5 for about a year now, and started posting somewhat recently. Between originally wanting to go with the 2011 2LT... to then waiting it out in June/July for pricing on the new 2012s...and then almost picking up a 2011 Camaro 2LT in late August/Early September (but ultimately the car was sold overnight after signing off on it!). FINALLY, after placing my order in late September (around the 20th), my 2012 built 1LT came in last Monday. Throughout the past couple of weeks, I've been doing research on a couple of modifications I've had in mind and ended up installing them when the car came in last week.

Some of these include:
- painting the bowtie and Camaro lettering
-upgraded polished wheels,
-stripe package, backup Camera (which I've already put great use to, its a must),
-Boston Acoustics,
-customized leather interior to match the exterior,
-heritage grill,
-Cold Air intake (on its way)
-Arc Performance exhaust

After the car finally came in last monday, I had to wait an additional week because 1)the leather needed to be installed and re-ordered; they sized it incorrectly for the back seats! 2)the mods took a day or two to install. 3)that snowstorm on Saturday threw some of my plans off!

But FINALLY, I picked up the new ride this morning. I'm running on adrenaline! Can't wait to take it for a ride tonight. It's been a long wait and the anticipation has been killing me, but I'm glad I got it the way I wanted, and it came out perfect.

I also wanted to give my highest recommendations to Mr. Thomas Pasquazi at Hawthorne Chevrolet, NJ (off Goffle Road). If you are looking to pick up a Camaro and you live in Northern NJ, I highly suggest stopping by and speaking with him. You can mention my name as well (Tim Gardner), he helped me during every stop of the process. He will help you build the car you want!

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to C5!! A few questions. Did you order your camaro with the eagle eyes already installed or was that and aftermarket mod? Also, same kinda question but about the interior trim kit?

Thank you very much. I ended up ordering it with the eyes already installed; with the interior trim, this was customized when the car actually came in by a leather interior group that Chevy does business with.
