OK Z-Update...This thing is AWESOME!

This is the definition of handling on rails. The Recaros are comfortable and hold you firmly in place while cornering intensely. Mountains roads are a blast!

Very pleased! In the words of Ferris Bueller, "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up".

That's awesome!!

Is that car equipped with Z07?

A local dealer offered a ton of money off of a Corvette...but I don't know if they had a Grand Sport on the lot...and if I option a Grand Sport the way I want my ZL1...it'll be ~83k MSRP.

Absolutely!

You can get very good discounts on the Grand Sport, just shop and dicker. I was going to buy a Camaro, but the GS/Z07 just called to me. I'm more about the handling than supercharged power. I'd rather build the LT1 if I want additional power. Inside note, the GS/Z07 outperformed the Z06/7 on Motor Trend's Figure 8. 22.3 seconds to 22.5 seconds. The Figure 8 times reflect both power and handling capabilities. The balance of the GS/Z07 is fantastic!

The ZL1 is a better fit for me, personally....but the good news is - it's still a "Z" - so I keep my House of Z credentials!

C & D 10 Best

"Senior editor Jared Gall: “The only reason not to put it (Grand Sport) on the list is that it is too fast and too capable to exploit on public roads. To leave it off the list would be to *punish Chevrolet for making it too good.” Enough staffers agreed with Gall’s logic for the Grand Sport to secure its position on the list because, although its performance borders on being unusable, criticizing it for being a supercar means ignoring the fact that it’s the greatest performance deal available today.

Tempting!
