Getting ready to purchase a nitrous system

Ive been looking over the last 2 weeks at purchasing a nitrous system...this one to be exact

http://www.nitrousexpress.com/20934-...lb-bottle.html

I know that you have to flip the throttle body in order to make this work due to the proximity to the idler pully, question is. Does the vapor line become an issue...it looks like it will be right in the way of the tb. I really dont want to spend almost 300 more on the dedicated "camaro kit"....And is there an extension for the wiring for the tb, and a pn if there is

http://www.nitrousexpress.com/20931-...lb-bottle.html

Im trying to purchase today or tomorrow because starting Thursday im tearing everything down for cam and p&p heads....installing bbk fuel lines...want to do this all at the same time

Pictures of others setup with the plate style nitrous setups would be appreciated.

Not sure of which "vapor line" your referring too, but no issues when I flipped mine on an LS3. Nitrous Outlet has a tb extension harness and a tps wire that comes out of the plug. My system is N.O.

Edit: Spend the extra $ to make it right imo. Window switch with tps signal input, forget about the micro switch and manual engagement.

Well I purchased the custom camaro plate kit from NX....no need to flip the tb...only downside is its only good to 200hp(dont even plan on going that far anyway)
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/20931-...lb-bottle.html
And I also purchased the maximizer 4
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/15957-...ontroller.html
....It has all the safety features, should I get the lnc-2000 to control the timing???, or are there any better alternatives??
And if the lnc-2000 is the best option, are there any walk through on how to properly set it up.

The lnc2000 is a straight forward and easy hook up. It has an input that needs to be triggered to activate timing retard. The controller you have does not appear to have an output to be used for this function. If the toggle switch in the diagram is used, it will trigger the timing when you activate the system. So you'll be pulling timing when not spraying. Other window switches have a + and/or gnd output that activates when spraying.

Yes. That is it. Page 3 of the nx manual didn't state if it was a +12 or gnd output. So according to the lnc2000 hook up, the nx output must be +12. And nx naming the output "stage1 or stage 2 retard" was slightly confusing or misleading. Those outputs can be used for other functions as well. For my contoller, I have one of the outputs going to an led to indicate when the spraying.

Awesome, well im deep into my tear down of heads and cam atm...found out its a pain to pull the head bolts with lt headers in the way...lots of pushing and pulling... but both heads are out , hopefully tomorrow I can get the cams swapped and heads dropped off. hopefully my nx kit will be here monday....about how much time should I be expecting to spend on wiring the nitrous controller and timing retard(clean install, accessible from in car)
