OMG, how in the world can exhaust be so exhausting!!
OMG, how in the world can exhaust shopping be so exhausting!!
So I “think” I’ve narrowed it down to Flowmaster – American Thunder and the MRT 2.0. Auto Anything has the Flowmasters on sale for $411.00 delivered. Is this a good price and is this a good exhaust for the money? Also, would I be better off spending a few extra $$ and going MRT 2.0? As a note, I am not looking for crazy sound, just better sound. |

MRT 2, but I'm partial... never heard the Flowmaster in person.

I also was narrowed between those two for months... And I ended up going with something totally different, JBA performance exhaust. I could not be any happier! No drone, nice looking tips, and awesome sound. Just hit over 1k miles on them and they keep getting better. Has a deep tone, with some gargling crackling and rumble on shifts and down shifts. Good luck!

Pretty much can't go wrong with any choice. I got the solo exhaust and am very happy. Though, it is a bit quite at idle.

I can't decide between the SOLO or MRT exhaust. Then if I pick MRT I gotta decide if I want version 1 or version 2. I can't count how many threads I've read about the exhausts and videos I've watched. So I feel your pain man, lol.

Also helps to think ahead like if you plan to do headers (shorties or LT) because you might want to think of the whole final package before making the decision too. Some exhaust may sound better with or without LT's etc.....

I feel your pain... took me forever to decide on my MRTv1.0. But I'm really happy with my decision.

I had a hard time deciding too, since no one around here had modified there V6 exhaust. Finally decided on the ARK DTS Catback system. A little pricey but it is all polished stainless steel and the sound is great and looks great too.
