no bottom = no hint at the wiring harness. rats. that is the part I am curious about...the rest seems academic.

did you get the harness through GM? Digikey? I didn't see a PN in the list published...the curiosity is whether it will pull power from the existing connector...

I listed the part number and updated it to day for a 2ss/2lt cars,so to help here is a pic of the harness and you will need it to update, but i dont know if it will work without some help.

I dont know at this time i may look at my seat after the install of a HUD i need to do.

Looks like the wiring in the new connecter is the same as our 2010 cars, so no need for any jumper its plug and play, Please don't order any parts, you may not need to order this harness at all, I need to pull the seat out and see what one connecter on this harness looks like, The one for the switch.
