MRT v2.0 installed today

MRT v2.0 Installed today
Got my MRT v2.0 installed today in Tucson. Not sure if I am 100% happy with the sound. Giving it a lot of gas sounds great, but giving normal gas it kind of sounds like a Honda Civic with an after market exhaust. Went with the MRT v2.0 based on all the user feedback from multiple message forums. Have read it will sound better once aged some. Haven't read any negative comments on the 2.0

The long video given wind noise from the GoPro is really only worthwhile to watch the beginning and around the 7minute mark. Will have to try again with the waterproof cover and see if it still lets enough of the exhaust sound through.

Here is a video placed my iphone under the car just to get start up sound.

I will be going with this exhaust in a couple of months and they always say for the first few hundred it sounds kind of imported. You gotta let them season and it should get better

Thanks. Shouldn't take me to long to season them as I drive about 70 miles per day throughout the week.

Please keep us informed... This is the system I want to do too, but I'm thinking about getting rid of the stock resonators and adding the magnaflow x-pipe... The thing holding me back is the fear of sounding like an import!

Anything else except a full system sounds like rice. Your tone will mellow out like mine and the rest of our fellow MRT2 friends. It' will grow on you before you know it!

I am sure it will grow on me. Was a little more used to an exhaust with a rumble sound as I did own one of the enemy dogde cars with a hemi. I will try and get some video sometime soon also.

Do you own an Auto? If so driving with paddle shift will change your thought. I have MRT V1.0 and with manual shift sounds great. Come to think of it my friend just picked up a 2012 BMW M3. We went for a drive and he loved my exhaust sound.

Yeah, coming from a V8, you will definitely have to adjust your expectations, as a V6 has a very different personality... You can make a V6 rumble at start up and idle, however you need to balance that with the the sound you will get the rest of the time...

I am about to buy the MRT 2.0 (maybe 1.0) Axle Back as well for my 2012 V6 Camaro. I too don't want the import sound. Will replacing my headers and intake help? Planning on getting JBA Shorty Headers and Roto Cold Air Intake (Maybe Injen).

They don't make headers for the 2012+ LFX engine. High Flow Cats and the cai will help though
