Nope, pressure stays put! I just released what pressure is in the master cylinder... Fill it up, put the pressure cap back on and the hook up the connectors. Pump up the bleeder a bit more and that's it...
Worked well... -Don

Nice to have a TechII to pulse the ABS, sure beats stop and go braking in a parking lot, followed by more bleeding. Rinse and repeat...

It's not bad, that is for sure. I can now bleed without having to open the ABS if I want to flush more through. I'll say, it was loud when cycling the solenoids!
Now, if my trueTrac and LPW would get here! ;o) -Don

LPW Cover!
Some good news, I got the LPW! I was curious if they took care of the 'possible' clearance issue with the cover hitting the rear cradle, and it sure looks that way:
Notice the 'dressed' area on the cover. This aids in clearance which was a problem with the earlier versions of the cover. Glad they took care of that! This does come with new bolts and this setup will strengthen up the diff! I chose this over the JRE caps since the caps needed some 'machining' to fit. The BAD news is my trueTrac didn't come with the shipment. I don't know why or what happened, but, it should be taken care of. I'm sure Steve from RDP will let me know -- delays are a pain though... Anyway, part one of 2 is here and hopefully, I'll get the trueTrac fast... -Don

Battery Tender
Since I'm waiting, and the battery needs charging, I decided to add the Battery Tender extension to the battery -- very simple -- there are bolts and nuts on the + and - side of the terminals to add them. Found a perfect location to push the connector through and seal it with 'water proof' silicone:
Terminals: where to route: Tender extensions on: Routed and sealed: Ti-Wrapped: Location of connector: Positive Cap dressed to allow closing with extension cable: Hooked up the charger and now I can do that anytime she sits... -Don

Battery Tender
Battery Tender did its job! ONLY took 3 days for the battery tender to turn green ;o). I like this setup as I keep my bikes on a tender and now, my car is ready!
STILL waiting to hear about the trueTrac - can't wait to get that installed and get the car back together! -Don

TrueTrac is on its way!
DynoSteve located the issue and corrected today! So, should have it here Wednesday or Thursday! If so, I'll see if GPI can get it done on Friday! Then, maybe I can get this thing back together again ;o) -Don

Your attention to detail is amazing... I love the idea of using the Tech II for bleeding... so much easier.. You need to install a quick dump on the battery tender plug... hit a button and it disengages... for those quick get-a ways...

Um, I kinda can do that ;0)
I'm very anal about details. You get that way being on a racing team when someone's life is in your hands. No room for mistakes there. Just a habit I kept I guess. Since I'm doing the driving, I want to know I've done all I can. Being ASE and GM certified in the past, it just stayed with me. The Tech II is a great tool to have. Glad I have a model year it's still useable on without having to use MDI and a GM subscription (our cars are global configuration so MDI is really required. There are shortcuts though ;o) Still enjoy doing this work along with welding and fiberglass work... -Don
