Programming the alarm?

On my last GM, I was able to program it (without any special tools) so that when I locked it and activated the alarm the horn did not sound off. I go in and out at odd hours and don't like the horn waking my neighbors.

I plan to replace the stock horn on my Camaro with an air horn, and don't want it sounding off every time I lock up my car. I could not find how to do this in the owners manual, which is where the procedure was listed for my last GM.

Can anyone tell me how to do this or direct me to a procedure ?

Thanks!

And the alarm still arms (just in case that wasn't clear). There is a 30 sec delay in arming I believe.

I think the settings to program the horn with the lock is in the radio under configurations.

On the radio click [config]. Then scroll down to [Vehicle settings] and select it. Then scroll down and select [Remote lock, unlock, start]. Then Scroll down and select [Remote lock feedback]. Click [Lights only] and now it's set so the horn doesn't go off when you press lock on your remote.

And thanks again! That's the actual answer I was looking for, but now that I know you can have it both ways (one click / two click on the remote) I am going to leave it that way. It's nice to have the option.
