i got the ******** single 10" kicker setup. install is really easy and the diy instructions are in this forum some place. all your wiring is in the trunk of the car and ********'s adapter plugs right into your existing amp, (if you've got the ba system).

Kicker stuff is a bit better then decent at best. IMHO, Kicker is one of the best mainstream brands available, having won more then their fair share if both SPL and SQ world titles. To top it off, their stuff lasts and is backed by some pretty awesome people. They might not cost the most, or the least, but Kicker will perform!

All that said, to the OP, if you don't go ********, be prepared to spend roughly $200 (or more) for a custom enclosure. A decent pair of subs, say 12" will run you about $350, add an amp to power them, $450-500, two hours labor to install, $100-150, necessary wiring and adaptors, $100. That's a rough guesstimate of around $1200, like someone posted above. That's going to equate to mid level equipment, which is great for a daily driver, and a sealed enclosure.

Or, you can DIY with ******** for about half as much.
