Question about matching component speakers with AMP?
Let's say i get a set of component speakers that have an RMS rating of 100 watts. What size amp do I get to push all 4 speakers? Is it 100 watts per speaker? Do I get an amp thats 100 watts rms x 4? Or 200 watts rms x 2 and run each pair off of 1 channel? Another question I have is has anyone just changed the amp or just the speakers. If so feedback please. AS near as I can tell each speaker is receiving 27 watts max.

Components are usually rated in pairs, meaning the mid and tweeter are designed to handle 100wrms combined. Some high end ones aren't, but most most are. You'll want something that pushes around 100wrms a channel, unless you want to bi amp each component, then I'd go lower.
