E85 on an LFX Camaro

Has anyone added an E-85 kit to their LFX camaro

Im thinking about it , but want to hear from guys that have done it on the V6 camaro and who you got the kit from.

Was it worth it and any down side?

other than pinning it to the computer, it seems like and easy mod.

Doesn't answer all your questions but shows how to hook up the kit. Could also probably just make your own following these basic instructions.

What is your overall plan with the V6 car? I would focus on doing all your HP mods to your '13 ZL1 and keep the V6 as reliable and tinker-free as possible. Just my opinion.

You will need a tune to take advantage of the fuel. However, even without a KIT,
the car runs on it. You will not need bigger injectors, or higher pressure fuel pump
unless you go boosted.

I run E85 in my 2010, and it "runs" just fine. There is no KIT for the LLT engines,
but it's great as just a high-octane fuel.

The ‘14 LFX does not have a yellow fuel cap, so I wouldn’t accept it as E85 ready without changes. 15% ethanol max according to the manual. Other discussions-

I have VIDEO PROOF I use E85, to each their own, yellow cap or not.
My LLT does not have a yellow cap. My mustang fuel cap SAYS no E85,
I run it anyway. Mustang loves it more than the Camaro, but the Mustang
is tuned for 93 octane fuel.

CHANGE needed is a stainless fuel tank. PLASTIC is not E85 friendly.

Fuel lines are fine, and so is everything else. ETHANOL is not corrosive, METHANOL
is.

Whatever, I have argued this too may times, so I made a video of me putting E85
in my Camaro... Anytime I am called out, I show it, and then NOTHING from the
person who made the big deal about it.

So, ANYTIME folks...

Simple mod, takes maybe 45min to install the Overkill kit. None boosted no other upgrades required with it, besides a tune. Perks of running it on an LFX is its flex fuel with a tune so you can change as you wish. I have ran it for a while now, boosterd even half e85 half gas I gained 2mph in the 1/4 and dropped .2 on time

Im tempted to add a kit on it. I dont see a downside for a little more fun.

Im not boosting or camming. Just figured E-85 would be a couple easy ponies.

Anyone other than overkill sell a kit?

Would a V8 sensor work or do I need a V6 specific flex fuel sensor?

I searched and there are other kits, but the tunning would need to be done. I was thinking of Trifecta but they cant tune for e85. I just bought the kit and tune from overkill. I'm having issues with communication, been a week since I bought and no reaponse.

Exactly why I'd never go through him, and that's what to many guys on here say. Id go without the kit if he's the only one that sells them lol .

My tuner doesn't have an issue with tuning the car on E85. He did a great job on my SS, ZL1, and LFX.

Ive emailed Will twice in the past week about mine trying to get it done before I go back to college and haven't heard a word from him. Really pisses me off.
