he was stock for the longest time idk what he has done now iirc he only put some nitto's on i have bolt's + tune and i'm ~350whp and ~375wtq so i think i'd fair better in the straights but it all comes down to the driver

Should be a close race. Should come down to who does better out of corners.

It will be pretty close. In trying to bench race these two, I can't get enough info to make a clear cut winner. The CTS will out-accelerate the Benz but its not going to be a significant advantage. To add to that ... Laguna Seca appears to favour braking and power over handling due to is combination of simple sharp turns, sweepers, and moderate straights. That nudges things towards the CTS-V but that could just be my personal bias kicking in.
