Does that mean major changes like using a new font or going with 10MPH increments? Or are we talking about some little thing like painting the needles a brighter color?

I read on 5thgen.org that there are visual distinctions between the V6 and V8, I hope that doesn't include the absence of the cowl and air in let on the hood for the V6. I'll be heartbroken if that's the case.

I'm reading that the Camaro will debut at this year's 2008 Detroit Dream Cruise. Makes sense with the amount of national coverage this event draws. Luckily I only live a 100 miles away. Wanted: Convertible, SS, automatic, slide/hide-away-headlight covers. Wanted one in 69, still want one today.

The debut will be media only, so it probably wont be any event you can get into, unless your part of the media that is!

Just wondering if you can clarify any on this statement. Are you saying the production intent cars weren't perfect because something wasn't complete yet, or that you saw some shortcomings in the completed production-ready aspects of the car that prompted this?

The opinion the V6 car was more of a suprise than the V8 is a little concerning to me, only because it seems there may be a smaller performance gap between the two. I guess it isn't too big a deal; but I'm still hoping for another V8 than has a whine to it
